The CCDA has embarked on a plan to strengthen Canada’s Red Seal trade certification program. At the heart of it is the development of Occupational Performance Standards (OPS) for eachtrade, and the adoption of new assessment methods for certification.

transCDA supports this initiative and believes it will benefit both industry and learners. Our work to update transportation industry training programs in the coming years will be guided by this approach to defining training standards and assessing skills.
